Bet your bottom dollar it’s ‘Annie Jr’ for YAE

Young Artists Ensemble is proud to present “Annie Jr.,” the Tony® Award Winning Broadway musical, at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts in Thousand Oaks. The show is under the direction of Kelly Salisbury with musical direction by Frank Laguardia.

“Annie Jr.” tells the story about a lovable orphan girl in 1930’s New York who survives a cruel life at the hands of the evil director of the New York City Municipal Orphanage, Miss Hannigan. Clinging to the a silver locket and the promise that her parents will return for her, Annie will sing and dance her way into your heart as her eternal optimism wins the love of billionaire Oliver Warbucks.
“Annie Jr.” includes all of the awarding winning songs from the hit Broadway musical including “Tomorrow, “Little Girls,” and “It’s a Hard Knock Life.”

“Annie Jr.” will perform from May 2nd through the 18th with evening performances on Friday and Saturday starting at 7:30 p.m.; matinees on Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. and on Sundays at 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Reserved seat tickets cost $16.50 adult evening: $13.50 adult matinee; $13.50 child/student/senior evening; $11.50 child/student/senior matinee.
